Introducing the Latest IWC Portuguese Chrono
Today, I'm excited to showcase a newly released IWC Portuguese chrono timepiece from the Z Factory, introduced just three days ago. This model features a stainless steel bracelet, a first for the Portuguese Chrono replicas by ZF. They have launched two versions: one with a green dial and the other with a white dial.
Design and Legacy
The Portuguese Chrono stands as a flagship piece for ZF, alongside the Portuguese 7 Days, both contributing to the factory's global acclaim. Traditionally, the Portuguese pieces from ZF have been paired with leather straps, exuding elegance. When I first entered this arena, these Portuguese replicas were highly popular, although interest seems to have waned. Nonetheless, they remain a favored choice among many Chinese men and are a worthy addition to any collection.
Construction and Movement
This timepiece is crafted entirely from solid 316L stainless steel, with a substantial 41mm case diameter and a manageable 14mm thickness, accommodating the Asia 7750 chronograph movement. The case boasts a polished round bezel in harmony with the polished lugs. The sides are horizontally brushed, offering a striking contrast against the polished case line. The stainless steel bracelet integrates seamlessly with the case.
Performance and User Tips
The transparent case back reveals a chronograph movement, mirroring the IWC 69355 Calibre in appearance and providing full chronograph functionality. Many have purchased these IWC Portuguese Chrono replicas from ZF and reported minimal issues, with quality receiving widespread praise.
One cautionary note: handle the clasp with care. Use the push button when opening or closing to avoid damage. This caution is similar to the clasp issues noted with the ZF VC Overseas model.
