Introduction to the Rolex Daytona 116508
The yellow gold Daytona, particularly with its striking green dial, has captivated many enthusiasts. The green hue complements the yellow gold perfectly. Initially, the BT factory released a version of this Daytona, which was the leading super clone model. Recently, Clean Factory released their rendition of the yellow gold green Daytona. This new version rivals, if not surpasses, the BT factory's offering. Although I was never a fan of golden Rolex models before, the yellow gold tone on this Daytona is impressive. Now, Clean offers numerous golden Daytona variations with either a stainless steel bracelet or a rubber band.
Design and Craftsmanship
The watch is entirely plated in yellow gold, featuring a bracelet with polished middle links. This super clone is crafted to mirror the original Rolex with 1:1 precision in size and thickness. The case part is so accurate that it can even be used with an authentic watch, making it a preferred choice for franken watches. The tachymeter scales on the golden bezel are coated in black, with each marking matching the genuine watch in thickness. The chrono buttons and crown function identically to the original, with screw-lock chrono buttons. However, it's advisable not to use the chrono buttons excessively. The watch is water-resistant, a common feature in super clone watches, with the exception of Richard Mille.
Dial Features and Accuracy
The green dial is a remarkable feature, presenting a unique green-black shade rather than a simple green, avoiding any cheap appearance. The red "DAYTONA" and the red circles within each subdial accentuate the green-black dial beautifully. Among all Daytona versions from various factories, the three small hands on the Clean Factory Daytona are the most precise, both in length and shape, closely resembling the genuine article. The small seconds hand operates on the subdial at 6 o'clock, with the other two subdials displaying minute and hour chronograph functions, exactly mirroring the genuine model.
Movement and Model Variations
Equipped with a super clone 4130 movement, this intricate piece is only utilized by three watch factories: New Noob, BT, and Clean. Any other claims of using this movement should be regarded with suspicion. Only the Daytona models from these factories using the super clone 4130 have the genuine case thickness.
