Introduction to the PAM 1229
With December around the corner, and the Chinese Spring Festival approaching, circumstances have become challenging due to ongoing COVID measures. In the midst of this, it’s been a while since we've seen new Panerai replicas in our market. Today, I’m excited to present a substantial model from the Submersible collection: the Panerai PAM 1229 replica, crafted by SB Factory.

Factory Background
The name SB, short for So Boring, might be unfamiliar to some. The reasoning behind this name is unclear, perhaps reflecting a mundane day-to-day life. There's speculation that SB Factory might be synonymous with VS Factory, as both share a reputation for producing high-quality Panerai clones. Following some setbacks, it’s been a while since VS released new top-tier Panerai replicas.

Design and Build Quality
The replica of the Panerai PAM 1229 is constructed using 316F stainless steel. With a substantial 44mm case diameter and a thickness of 17mm, it suits those who appreciate robust, diving-style timepieces. The Submersible line is a favored choice among divers, with VS Factory producing top replicas using materials ranging from stainless steel to Titanium, Bronze, and forged carbon, all of which are sought after.

Dial and Features
The PAM 1229’s appearance isn't particularly distinctive, featuring a black dial with blue small hands and skeletonized central hour and minute hands. The date window is intricately crafted with a multi-layered design. Swiss lume applied to the hands and hour markers ensures a strong and enduring glow. The blue accents lend freshness and enhance visibility in low-light conditions.

Unique Case Back
The solid case back is adorned with a distinctive logo resembling a torpedo, referred to as Siluro a Lenta Corsa in Italian. This feature is rare on modern Panerai models and may contribute to making the PAM 1229 a best-selling Panerai replica once more.
