Introduction to the Omega Seamaster Nekton
This timepiece is a special edition that Omega released for the Nekton Foundation. While the specifics about the organization remain unclear, the watch itself is impressive. It is available with either a stainless steel bracelet or a black rubber strap. Crafted by the VS factory, the first feature that caught my attention was the bezel. Unlike the standard Omega Seamaster, this model's bezel closely resembles that of the Rolex YachtMaster, particularly with its polished markers. Additionally, the seconds hand shares a red design similar to certain YachtMaster versions. The sword-shaped hour and minute hands with skeleton stems are iconic elements of the Omega Seamaster. The dial features wavy textures, a hallmark found in many popular Seamaster models of recent years. With a case diameter of 42mm and a thickness of just 13.5mm, it ensures maximum comfort when worn.

Case Back and Movement Details
The case back is solid, which is unfortunate because it conceals the exquisite movement within. Adorning the back is an engraving of the Nekton boat sailing across the ocean. With a special tool, one can open the case back to reveal a stunning movement, complete with an auto rotor and beautifully adorned plates. The Omega Logo and engravings reading “OMEGA MASTER CO-AXIAL 8806” are inscribed with precise depth and coloration. The quality of the Omega Seamaster replica from the VS factory is outstanding; no client has reported issues with their Seamaster watches. The movement is stable, and the detailing on the case and dial is intricately done.

Current Market and Availability
As the Chinese New Year approaches, most watch factories are closed for the holiday. Employees have returned to their hometowns, and operations are paused until March 1st. This is why certain watches are currently unavailable. However, popular models like the Noob Submariner, VS Submariner, ZF Portuguese, and VS Seamaster are still accessible. The early holiday may be due to raids from secret departments on factories like ZF, VS, and V6, leading to hefty fines. Consequently, some factories opted to halt new releases and commence their holidays early to avoid further issues, especially as the year's end is a sensitive period.

Final Thoughts and Purchasing Advice
If you're considering purchasing a watch before the holiday break, act swiftly. Our team will take a break in roughly ten days, and while some sought-after models remain on the market, they might sell out within a few days or a week. Once that happens, purchases will be on hold until March 1st. Note that shipping services will also be paused soon.
