Design and Build Quality
While Bell Ross watches feature many appealing designs, they are often overlooked when choosing a timepiece with a square case, unlike more traditional shapes. Personally, I appreciate military-style watches, and Bell Ross is renowned for incorporating military elements into their designs. The easily interchangeable straps offer an added layer of customization. Today, I want to highlight two military-themed Bell Ross watches from the BR03-92 series. Although the factory that produces these replicas remains unnamed, the quality is described as moderate.
Case and Dial Details
Both models feature a 42mm square case, with a width and height of 42mm and a thickness of approximately 11mm. One watch presents a stainless steel finish, while the other boasts a PVD black coating. The dial and band both exhibit a camo pattern.
The PVD black variant is particularly striking, with blackened screws securing the case. The solid case back is engraved with information reminiscent of SevenFriday models. The irregular camouflage on the dial does not hinder clarity. Large hour markers at 3, 6, 9, and 12, along with other markers, are in a black tone, darker than the PVD case itself. The date window, although small, is noticeable on a plain white background between 4:00 and 5:00. I didn’t check the watch in darkness, but such military-style timepieces generally feature luminescent hour markers.
Movement and Features
The watch houses a Japanese Miyota 9015 automatic movement, a popular choice imported from Japan by a watch parts factory. This movement's widespread use might face restrictions due to potential objections from Swiss brands. The band combines an outer nylon layer with camouflage and a black leather underside, stamped with the “Bell&Ross” logo.
Value Assessment
This Bell Ross replica offers moderate quality and stands out due to the limited availability of camouflage-themed watches in the market, making it a compelling choice for enthusiasts of camo-style military timepieces.
