Currently, the market isn't seeing a lot of new watch models due to recent disruptions. The absence of Noob means that a major source for the highest quality Rolex Daytona, Submariner, and GMT-Master II is no longer available. This is a significant loss for enthusiasts. Although the Clean Factory recently announced plans to produce high-quality GMT-Master II and Submariner replicas, their release has been delayed. I ordered a GMT-Master from Clean Factory a few weeks back, but it hasn't arrived yet, which might be expected in the current circumstances. Among the larger production facilities, ZF stands out for maintaining its delivery pace, typically shipping orders within three days.
Design and Build Quality
The watch under review today, crafted by ZF, is the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 15500, featuring a distinctive DLC black finish instead of the traditional silver stainless steel. While the all-black look isn't my personal preference, it might appeal to those with a taste for rugged designs. The Royal Oak 15500, even in its stainless steel version, feels a bit large for my wrist. Nonetheless, the thick DLC coating ensures durability without fading, resembling the previously popular Submariner PVD black models.
Variety and Quality
The DLC-coated Royal Oak 15500 comes in four variants, differing in dial colors—black, white, blue, and gray. Despite my personal taste, I must acknowledge the superior quality of these watches. ZF consistently delivers top-tier craftsmanship, representing the pinnacle of watch-making technology in today's market.
