Not only is Patek Philippe known for crafting exquisite luxury timepieces by hand, but they also produce sports watches. Design and Build Quality
Today, I'm presenting a Patek Philippe Aquanaut watch made by the V6 Factory. It's been a while since I reviewed similar timepieces, and this one represents the latest from the market. A sticker on the crystal clearly marks it with V6 and SAPPHIRE. The case measures 40mm in diameter, with a brushed front bezel and polished sides, including the four polished lugs. This Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5167 showcases a dark blue dial with unique patterns that match the rubber strap. The digital hour markers feature silver edges filled with white luminous material. I especially appreciate watches with a Big Second Hand. There's a small, square date window at 3 o'clock, displaying black numerals on a white background.
Movement and Features
The see-through crystal back reveals a movement with a golden rotor and fish-scale patterned plates. The movement is a clone Swiss ETA 2824, modified from a Sea-Gull automatic movement. Opening the case back is simple; you only need an air balloon tool. The rubber strap is crafted from high-quality rubber imported from Thailand, featuring a Patek Philippe logo on the clasp. This strap is soft, not stiff, making it very comfortable to wear. The watch can be accompanied by an original box for an additional cost of $68 USD.
